Every rescue story starts with a moment of hope, and for one frightened dog hiding beneath a vehicle, that moment changed everything.

When we received word about a possibly pregnant dog needing urgent help, we knew we had to act quickly.

Little did we know that this scared soul would soon become Stella, a dog whose journey would touch all of our hearts.

A Delicate Rescue

Finding Stella wasn’t easy, but our rescuer Bri approached with patience and gentle determination.

Though terrified, something in Stella recognized the kindness being offered, allowing Bri to slowly gain her trust.

That first car ride to the vet marked the beginning of Stella’s transformation from a street survivor to a beloved companion.

Fighting for Survival

At the veterinary clinic, the true extent of Stella’s condition became clear – she wasn’t pregnant as initially thought, but was fighting serious injuries.

Open wounds, lung contusions, and dangerously low blood counts painted a concerning picture for this brave girl.

Finding Her Groove

Named with hope and purpose, Stella began her journey to “get her groove back” in the care of loving hands.

Perhaps for the first time in her life, she experienced the simple luxury of a soft bed and cozy blanket.

Day by day, Stella’s sweet personality emerged, touching the hearts of everyone who met her.

A Dream Come True

Through the dedicated efforts of the iPittytheBull Foundation and her caregivers, Stella grew stronger and healthier.

Her final chapter turned out to be the sweetest of all – adoption by a wonderful mother who could give her the forever home she deserved.

Today, Stella’s dark past is just a memory, replaced by the warmth and love of a family who adores her.
