When we first met this precious pup, her eyes told a story of unimaginable pain and betrayal at the hands of someone who should have been her protector.

The Darkest Beginning

MED was discovered in a state that broke our hearts – her tiny body covered in ticks, her eyes wide with terror.

Surviving on grass and without proper food or water, she had endured psychological and physical abuse that no living being should ever experience.

In those early days, her body language spoke volumes about the trauma she had endured, flinching at every human movement.

The Path to Physical Healing

Medical tests revealed the severity of her condition – dangerous ehrlichiosis and severe anemia requiring immediate blood transfusions.

For those first crucial days, our dedicated team worked tirelessly to rid her small body of ticks and begin the healing process. Every small victory felt like a miracle.
